ast alt elevated

by Dylana, Aug 12, 2002 12:00AM
I am 41. female, 20lbs overweight. I recently had an ast level of 118 (reference range 2-35) and an alt of 61 (ref range of 2-40). I have in the last 5 years had a few tests with similar results. My trig are 48, choles 131, HDL 64, LDL 57, HDL ratio 2.0 and negative ana screen and hepatitis negative.
Any suggestions what might be wrong?
Thanks!!
Dylana
