big belly

Has anyone experienced this while on tx?  Since starting treatment I've noticed my belly feels bloated alot.  Its mainly the upper part of my stomach.  Especially after eating so I try to stick to small meals now.  It has always stuck out alittle after eating but its abnormally bigger than before tx.  Everyone I've talked to on tx doesnt know what I'm talking about.  its a tight full feeling in the middle of the belly right below the breast.  I ask because I know the liver and our spleen is up there.  wondering if related to hepc tx.

Thanks good to know. I try eating whatever looks like i can take down.  I've not lost much weight but I know eventually I might so I try not to skip on anything, cuz I might need the nutrition for worse days.
I do feel better that there is a logical reason for the bloated belly.

It may be because of Tx, when i started Tx, my whole body became bulky, fat and losse. I was very much amaized coz i have heared that Tx reduces weight and body muscle size but mine was growing big. Moreover in early days of tx, when i eat some thing my belly become so tight and got bigger like baloon filled with more air but after 2-3 weeks both problems got dow. Axctually that happens because your body is trying to accept the changes caused by Tx and ithese are the reactions of body for these changes. However as you have mentioned that this area is right below the breasts where liver is placed, this SHOULD be discussed with your doc coz mine area was lower belly.

Discuss it with your doc and he/she will give you better advice. Make sure you take healthy and good food, dont reduce food coz in the later time its going to tease you. I gained 6 lbs of weight in just 2 weeks of starting tx and now i am in 9th weeks and my weight is 12 lbs down from my original weight (at the start of tx)
