colloidal silver...

YIKES!!!

Stay away --- far far away...

Read about Colloidal Silvers --- do a search --- they are very bad for you, in my humble opinion.

There may be a few folks here that can give you some info on them --- but I think they may be hazardous to your health.

Elemental silver has been used successfully in the past to prevent bacterial infections on burn wounds. I've seen silver foil used 20-25 years ago in rural hospitals in conjunction with pigskin grafts. Nowadays there are better alternatives to both these therapies, but if there were no other choice I would probably pick them over infection and scarring.
I have never heard of better than placebo type results with today's versions of colloidial silver, though the 1950s, FDA approved stuff used to turn people's skins an interesting shade of gray - permanently - until they stopped Rxing it.
