complications of pegassys

hello,my mother is suffering from hepatitis c from last 2 years,she has completed the course of roferon injections in the last year,during the medications her pcr report was negative but now the virus has been relapced.now she is taking pegassays once a week on every sunday,can u plz plz tell me the complications of this injections.             thanks

Exhaustion, irritability - mood swings - depression - aches - flu like feeling - rashes - breathing issues - naseau - and about anything under the sun. LOL!

It REALLY depends on each individual. Everyone responds differently

Sorry about your mums relapse.
Side effects are similar between the Non Peg IFN and Pegasys. Although Pegasys should have less sides than Roferon because it is only injected weekly, rather than 3 times a week. However a lot depends on how your mum coped last time. If she had minimal sides then that is probably what will happen with Pegasys. If her sides were harsh then maybe it will be a similar ride.
No way to tell really till you have them.
Was your mum also taking Ribavirin and is she taking this now and at what doses.
