contagion through body fluid

hello,i have hep-c,
took the pegasys shots for 6 months along w/ the copegus pills,
it reduced the count to around 10,000. alright,i think it was worth a shot( NPI), my question is about contagion, i have read that it is only spread by blood, and i have heard it is also spread by body fluid transfer, what is your experience w/ this?
thanks for your time.
PS. you wont loose your mind, stay the course.

A Hepatologist put it to me this way, With the millions of people that have or had hep-c and maybe a million plus that don't know they have it and a very large % of these people have it for 20 plus years not knowing they have it. So if it was passed by body fluids just think through the years what the numbers would be.... Its blood to blood

so far it is known to be just a blood-born disease. but in my opionion (this is only my opinion) they do not know all there is to know about hep c and we don't know what they will discover years on down the road. i would not worry too much about that right now. you are doing fine right now in fighting the virus and that's good enough for now. i'm sure others here will have more knowledge than me and be able to answer your question. hep c is a slow progressing disease and righ now your liver is getting a break. good luck to you and keep posting. lol

ps. i have learned alot since coming to this forum and most of my questions have been answered here also, i have gotten alot of support here. you will learn alot here.

the fluids would have to be contaminated with blood before they could transmit the virus, so technically it is still blood borne.
