could you clear this up for me?

hey everyone
years ago a family member of mine was diagonsed with heptitis c. he told me that he got it through sharin a bong when he was younger. but i had heard that bongs mostly transfer hep a not hep c as this was a more blood to blood contact. And to top it all off he drinks like a fish! how can i make him see how dangerous it is for him to be drinkin? is it dangerous for him to drink? could he have got it from sharin a bong?
please help me solve this  i really am curious and worried abouthis help.

The only way he could have got it from a bong is if people sharing the bong had cut lips. Possible, yes but highly unlikely. Maybe he also snorted back in those days? recent studies have shown sharing snorting paraphernalla like straws, bills, etc can pass hep c more then they first thought.

Drinking with HCV is a death sentence. First cirrhosis then liver cancer. one of the worse deaths is dying from liver cancer. I would'nt wish it on my worse enemy. Try and get him help !!!!

LOL, great poem. as you know i just started tx and i want to ask if i will become a poet after being on the drugs for awhile. maybe i will come out of this tx in worse shape then before but at least be a song writer ;-)
