cramps

my husband has some water in the lungs. doc put him on some meds to clear it up. he's getting cramping alot under the ribs. he was cramping before but now its getting worse.he does not have a cold or anything else. why wpould he sart gettting water in the lungs and cramping all over. its been almost 10years since his diagnosis of hepc. no help for him until the other organs start to fall then they will put him on the transplant list. the cramping is really bad. he does take quininesulfate but it doesnt help. put a call in the the doc this morning. still waiting for them to call. any ideas will help. thank you debby

Don't have any answer about the cramping, but has your husband tried treating his Hepatitis C? Have you had a second opinion on the Hep C from a liver specialist (hepatologist)? Some here have been told by one doctor that they cannot treat only for another doctor to tell them they can. Always good to get two or more opinions in difficult cases.
