It's actually the opposite. Hep C is associated with having LOW Vitamin B12 and low B12 is a treatment negative.
Having a high level would be beneficial because Vitamin B12 inhibits Hep C virus replication.
Best of luck to you.

@ can do man...I understand where ur coming from. Your right...I do need to just get tested and then know where to go from there. Until then, I am stressing myself out and very worried.
Was just curious if there was an correlation between Hep C and elevated b12 levels.
As DWBH told you we cannot tell you if you have Hep C but you keep asking, just get tested, I am sorry but when someone says...""Almost 4 months post transplant and have been experiencing a dull headache for the last few weeks, everyday. It is a dull headache and the discomfort is random" What is one to think?
You asked and you were told, get tested.
Also...thiese forums aren't only for those of us who actually have a particular disease or issue...caregivers, family, friends and loved ones can post questions either for themselves or on behalf of others. Please stop harping on my past posts and focus on the questions that I have. If you can't then please ignore my questions and let someone who can help me do so. Thank you.
I DIDN'T have a transplant...those previous questions were posted on behalf of someone who doesn't know how to use a computer appropriately!
This is a forum to ASK questions and get advice/feedback and HELP. Why do you keep focusing on my past threads that were posted on BEHALF of someone else???
To answer your question...No, I am curious why that they didn't test you for Hep C when you had your TP............ Just get tested.
"Almost 4 months post transplant and have been experiencing a dull headache for the last few weeks, everyday. It is a dull headache and the discomfort is random...sometimes its on the left side of the head, sometimes on the right, sometimes between the eyes, etc. It's not a migraine, but a dull pain, nagging pain. Can this be a side effect from any of the medications? Pentamidine (aerosol) 1x monthly, Prograf 2mg 2x daily, metroprolol tartarate 12.5mg 2x daily, magnesium oxide 400mg 2x daily, oscal, multi vitamin, vitamin d3 1000iu 1x daily. Thanks."
