Welcome to the Forum.  As SSg told you, now is the time to get the HCV RNA PCR (viral load) test.  Do that BEFORyou need to worry about treatment.

To answer your question about injections, that sounds like Interferon treatment, which you do not want, as there are newer ones that are all oral - pills to swallow - that have many fewer side effects.  (The shots are rotated in places on your upper thighs, and, if necessary, your upper arms.  However, first things first - get tested.)

Back to SSG's point, and mine:  Get the HVC RNA PCR test.  Once you know whether or not you have the virus is time enough to wonder about treatment.

Good luck and good testing!

I think everyone who wants treatment should be afforded the chance to do it. I think that because it is virtually impossible to tell who will progress with their liver disease and who will live with it with no medical issues, everyone should treat. Why live with a virus when you can get rid of it?

what is your opinion about treatment?

A false positive is when the antibody test reacts and looks positive but it is reacting to something else. Clearing the virus means you were exposed and your body fought it off without treatment which happens in 15-40% of cases depending on which studies you read. That is why everyone with a positive antibody needs to confirm it with a pcr/viral load test. As I told you, you have a very low result and it is likely it is a false positive. Get the viral load test and put this to rest.

You have a very low score which can mean you are having a false positive. Do what your doctor recommends. The pcr test, better known as the viral load test, looks for actual virus, not just the antibodies. You may have been exposed and you may have cleared the virus without treatment; you may have a false positive, or you be infected. Don't worry ahead of time and actually with the new treatments, there is a cure for almost everyone. My best to you.
