fever because of low platlets and WBC counts

I am feeling fever since last 12 days. I went through all tests, which shows my platlets and WBC counts are low. I am not feeling well and fever goes up and come down. But not completely gone. What should i do? please help me

I experienced Neutropenic fever during much of my treatment.  Fevers never went over 101 degrees and were easily controlled with acetaphetamine.  I increased my fluid intake also.

Low white counts can make you more susceptible to infection so make sure you are not experiencing some type of bacterial infection.  I was put on antibiotics several times during treatment due to bacterial respiratory infections.

I was also placed on Neupogen which raises the WBC but the fevers still persisted throughout my treatment which is not uncommon.

You should probably go to the doctors to make sure you don't have any infection going on - sometimes a quick antibiotic can fix everything. We always assume everything is a direct result of treatment but it's not always the case.  Since none of us are doctors we can't really take that guess.
