geno type- Untypeable ????
Last i met with a person, who has HCV and his PCR is positive. He hasnt started Tx yet. He got his Geno type test and the result was UNTYPEABLE... whats thats meant ???? has he any different type of Geno or suffering from mix of different genotypes ???

Virus can mutate past the point where it falls into any of the recognizable categories. I believe it's generally tx'd as though it were type 1.

But that guy hasnt recived any tx neither interferone/riba nor any herbal etc. He never even know that he's having HCV. His VL is 300,000 iu/ml
