hey there debbittdoo....i do not think there is ANYTHING wrong with indulging ( pot)if it will help aleviate ANY of your symptoms sweetie..you can even obtain it legally now for just such purposes..whether nausesa, sleep trouble whatever, while on chemo or this treatment..(interferon is the same drug they use for chemo )..personally, again, its the one thing i never did do, but probably the safest thing of all dope...organic after all....my daughter smokes pot and i have NO PROBLEM with it.she is respectful not to at home, as well as smoking cigerettes at home SHE JUST WOULDN'T..i am far more disturbed by her smoking CIGARETTES.....sadly, i too smoke cigarettes!

Oh I just saw your comment about my dog. We found her in an ad in the paper, which is rare to see any being offered! My daughter went to pick her out and said the father had run away (doh) but the mother was there. No AKC papers, but thats okay, I love her personality, she is something else!! Even my vet had a case of the giggles after seeing her. Hope you do okay on tx. The first few weeks are the worst, well, I am in my 7th month and I feel like the fountain of youth compared to some of the folks having the tx woes early on. OHC
I dont need it for appettie or sick feeling....before TX i use to smoke a bowl at night before bed, it helped me sleep....

Well, you might be pleasantly surprised and tolerate tx well and cl immediately. My liver decomp'ed-failed-w/coma and 6dys icu before I use tested for hep c. I was transfused '79-emerg c-sec and then again in'85. for sure the '79 transfusion did it.
When I was sent home to die, the 1st thing I said to my partner was 'B/I've never seen Paris.' So we went to Paris and had a glorious time. At midnite, w/a full moon over Notre Dome, bats filled the night sky and I knew I would be healed as I made a promise to return the following year.
W/no insurance or money, I got into a study immediately and cl'ed w/in 3wks. Well, I went to Cabo and then to Amsterdam and after Amsterdam, decided Paris could wait.

I dont personally do that, but I have heard both sides, and have heard of some who did indulge and obtained SVR. I have heard that some docs say whatever gets you through tx go ahead. and of course some docs would turn pale and say OMG NO WAY! lol
I would ask your dr for Ambien or some similar sleeping pill, and if that doesnt help go ahead and try the green stuff. Some say they needed it for appetite. Whatever helps you make it thru!! OHC :)

gallium, welcome welcome welcome, you have stumbbled opon wonderful assortment of people here...glad your joining us.....i don't somehow think faith or beliefs is anything that any of us would be bothered by....whatever gets yah through the night....we all have our beliefs...actually, i had to laugh at that part of your post as my daughter....19yrs olds....was baptisted catholic...cause my ex mother in law insisted..(i and my ex were catholic by birth)...but i never dictated to her what to believe in as long as she was kind and fair, and took responsibility for her actions and always was gracefully able to admit or apolises for any injuries she may have caused....SO all this to say...she went through a wonderful phase for about 7 years where she "tried on" different beliefs...so...she was jewish for awhile, a baptist for an other while, pagan for another while...oh what else...oh yah and wickken?? spl. so thats her story, now she is a combination of all those wonderful things and i am proud to say, ulimately, she is kind and good!!!
