good news for timbo

Hey, fellow heppers! Got my 44 week heptimax results back today, viral load still undetectable! Yeehaa, sure is nice to hear these last 20 weeks haven't been a waste of time. The only problem is, now I have the ok to extend tx, OH NOOOOOoooo. I was gonna try to do an extra 8 weeks but I talked myself down to 4.
Some of y'all have expressed concerns about doses being lowered, I've been averaging 80% of the pegasys since week 6 (low wbc) and went down 2 logs at 12 wks. clear at 24 and now 44 so it seems to be working (so far...) 6 more shots and I will finally be done with this tx garbage, sure has been a long year

5 more to go, now! It might seem like a piece of cake, but if it stays like last week it's gonna be some hard cake to swallow :-}
I didn't get back to my baseline crappy feeling till Thursday, had five really bad days feeling like hell. But, I modified my diet some so hopefully things'll be easier from here. Some people say the shots don't bother them, but they really kick my butt hard some weeks. I guess I'm just lucky, at least I don't have to worry if the meds are any good or not.
