good news

Just thought I would share some good news for a change. just had my 12 week blood test (really 14 weeks because I was away) and came back undetectable. A reason to keep moving forward with this lovely treatment.

Been more tired then ever recently I think maybe mostly due to a big trip I went on for work, because the rest of my blood works are fine/unchanged.

As I mentioned earlier was itching a lot recently and with the advice here I started using goldbonds triple action, which seems to have helped the itch but I now notice my skin is drier then ever. has anyone else had this reaction to goldbonds?

beagle - one thing about our heat is that it is a dry heat.  Humidity runs about 10-20%.  When I go to a high-humidity location now I nearly die.  I am going to San Antonio next weekend and have been checking temps and they are running 10 degrees cooler than here but 55% humidity.

fishdoc - I have a friend who used to go to Chama every summer.  Always sounded like a dream place.  We usually head to the mountains in Colo every couple of years, but probably won't make it this year. At least you are close to the NM mountains in Roswell.

Yup, I hear you.  Hubby said last week: I've spent my life working in this H@llhole, I AM NOT RETIRING here.  So we plan to start looking around chama, ute lake.... north where there is some green....

time ---mega mile marker.  Clear at 12 -- mucho congrats.  It makes it easier to go on, doesn't it?  I swear by the Aveeno body wash instead of bar soap in the shower. I only use the Gold Bond on localized areas, and use Aveeno lotion everywhere.  Actually my skin is less dry than before tx because I am taking better care of it.  Do make sure you are getting enough water too.

fishdoc -- hey my car thermometer reads the same thing.
We have had 1 day under 100 in the last two weeks.  I am just sick of it.  106 on Sunday (and that was the official temp) and I thought I would die. And our water hardness here is like 700. Tough places we live in.  And here we suffer while can do is probably enjoying 75 degree weather.  Need to go to the mountains...

can do - how are you today?  Sounds like your spirits are up a hair.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!  Your on your way, this is great news for all of us to hear.  There seems to be a lot of good news lately and I hope it stays that way.
Hope the sxs aren't beating you up to much.  The gold bond worked for me too but I had no problem with dry skin, etc.

I lube up on a regular basis with lubriderm with oatmeal.  Its 108 here today, so you can imagine, plus our water is so highly mineralized, its like bathing in ocean water.  Lubriderm is working well for me, now the dermagraphia from the extra riba-thats a different thing... 30-40 minutes after I take the riba, I go to itching, skin feels like its crawling, and if I DARE scratch, i break out in hives that heat up, raised bright red welts, itch like crazy- oral benadryl is the only thing that helps..but it is kind fun to write F*** Me on my bu tt in hives.... we have to get our jollies where we can these days...
btw, congratulations..... to your health...

you said....I lube up on a regular basis with lubriderm with oatmeal......... Hmmmm guess whatever does it for you and your hubby. Never tried the oatmeal though. Why you write that on your butt for? Don't you get tired of bending over? Heck just put it on your forehead.

sorry, guy just came by and said his thermometer on his car was reading 114, and the wind is blowing 30-60 miles an hour, grass fires up north, can't imagine why...did I mention I have a 14' hole in the back yard where they are replacing the septic system>>>>

can man OK< its bigger than my forehead, has deeper cleavage, less bones, you figure it out...

kalio, its easy to write on, I just turn around to my wheelbarrow... my pants are always down to make it easy for the world to kiss my @ss (somewhat of an attitude problem these days...)

I am feeling much better these days.

I do have to go in for an x-ray on monday though, I have no idea what I have done, but it almost looks like my elbow bone is ready to pop right out of my skin, really hurts, dont think you can break a bone and not know it,.........can you?

gosh, I am wayyyyyyy to hyper sometimes.

Well you would think the pain of breaking a bone would be your first clue. Did you maybe bump your crazy bone there causing it to swell up? You ain't been doing anything wild like swinging from fans or nutin have you?

I have been looking up everything on "Stress Fracture" cuz it is the only thing that makes sense, meanwhile, Im worried about my job. I already have some limitations, dont tell me I cant lift and sling my 50 lb boxes filled with gatorade, whats the point of going to work if you have to ask for assistance on everything. I guess I need to just quit stressing, and wait til monday, and then I should get an answer, even if it to tell me to see a orthopedic specialist.
I just kinda feel like I am becoming more debilitated in more and more ways. I dont hubby (who drives for living) how would like to be told you can still work, but have somebody else take the left hand turns for ya.  I mean what it the point. Well I need to go to bed I have a gigantic order coming in tomorrow, and no less than 60 cases of liquid at 50 lbs each. I may in up in the emergency room tomorrow if the pain continues, or rather if the selling contiues, it has already gone from the protruded elbow bone and now is moving into my deltoid area.
