had a lump at injection site

i did my wk 14 shot last night and as i was injecting the fon rang and it startled me and i guess i pulled the needle out just a bit and it was going UNDER my skin and so i stopped and reinjected the remander or the shot but I had a lump at thefirst injection site and i was wondering if even after rubbing the site if the medicatin will do what its suppose to since i messed up a bit. VERY concerned. I want this treatment to work and hope it will be ok. Anyone else EVER had this happen to them and will it be aalright? the lump has went away now but still concerned...

TY I was doin good til the fon rang n thats wen i was a bit startled and I guess i just pulled out a bit but all is good now. I feel fine n the bump is gone. TY everyone for helping me throught this. Have a Blessed day

How thin would a person have to be to require a 45 degree injection angle?  Mine goes straight in.  Trying to get an injection in at 45 degrees is way more mental anguish than I need.  ;)

Hi there.  I agree with everybody, you'll be okay.  No worries.  Was probably the angle of the needle, as if it is closer to the surface when you inject, more likelihood of having a lump afterwards.

No need to worry.  I've also had a lump at the injection site, but it is gradually absorbed.

The lump will be absorbed and the meds will get in. This is no problem at all. You haven't messed up anything.
