have toddler-how bad are side effects?

I am stage 2. Genotype 3a. I feel fine-Doc recommends starting a treatment. I'm scared. I've heard there are a lot of bad side effects and I have a 15 1/2 yr old and an almost 2 year old and a very supportive husband. I work two days a week(mon. and fri) and do some part time daycare. How will this effect my life?
