Hepatitis C can often be clinically resolved; the term ‘cure’ is rather ambiguous, unfortunately. Do you have HCV?

many of the top hepatologist are now using the word cured. so to answer your question yes HCV can be "cured"

Conclusions: Sustained virological response to PEG-IFN and ribavirin is maintained in 99% of patients during long-term follow-up. Late virological relapse occurred within 1 year after SVR and, from a clinical perspective, patients can be considered cured of infection after this period.

I would say the short answer is a definite YES.

A cure is not simple, painless or a sure thing, but there are many here that are cured. I am using the word "cured" here to be synonymous with "SVR", meaning that the virus is no longer replicating in your liver and cousing continued damage.
