help ...hep c by toothpick

I used a toothpick leading my teeth to bleed before i realized it was a used one ... Could that lead me to hv hep c?? Please help i didnt sleep last night thinking about that

I have never read or heard of a case where someone contracted HCV from a toothpick. Either it's never happened....or it's so rare that its not even worth reporting as a statistic....I don't know. I listed the ways it contracted above....frequent and infrequent....toothpick was not one of them.

There is such a thing as microscopic blood that you can't see but understand it as to be someone's blood that has HCV....not just anybody's blood. If this is really bothering you...by tested.

I personally don't think you have anything to worry about but if you can't put your mind at ease...make a dr appointment.

There would have to have been infected blood on the toothpick that got into your blood stream....it is highly unlikely unless you know the persons toothpick you used has HCV.
