helpful informational question

I heard that blueberries are helpful to bring hepatitis C to be non-reactive.  Has anyone else heard of this?
If so, can you give me some background on this?

There is some current research available where the leaf of a south american blueberry has been shown to have anti viral properties-how much is required and how potent the compound is I am unsure.
This would not be a substitute for the current treatment regime but could be used maybe as an adjunct.

Although blueberries are very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium and also a good source of dietary fiber as well as a very good source of vitamin C, vitamin K and manganese they in no way render the Hepc virus non-reactive.  Also, a large portion of calories from blueberries come from sugars.

The only current treatment for hepc is interferon and ribavirin.
