hep c and sharing bottles

I have took a drink out of  a bottle after the person who has hep c... could I have caught it? she has had it for a year now.

You should be just fine. HCV is only transferred by blood to blood contact. I had the virus for 5 years without knowing and my wife was not affected.

There is no need for testing. You will test negative. There is zero probability to get hepatitis C the way you describe.

Not everything you find on internet is true. Hepatitis C is very common disease. Millions of people have it. But unfortunately there are still many misunderstandings and unfounded fears about the way it is spread. You can not get it through saliva. My husband has hepatitis C, and over the years we exchanged many things-before as well as after his diagnosis. And I don't have this disease. You have nothing to worry about. Testing would be just a waste of your time and money (if you have to pay for the test).

Go to wikipedia and read about hepatitis A,B, and C.  All this worry because you are misinformed, good luck !
