hep c answer

Hello,

HCV antibodies after a six month and a half blood to blood contact was 1.63 weakly reactive and riba3 indeterminate with ns3 band. At 10 month after incident i repeat HCV antibodies test and the result was weakly positive 1.14 nd riba 3 indeterminate with ns3 band present. At 8 and a half month after possible infection HCV RNA quantitative was undetectable. At 13 month after possible infection i repeat antibodies for HCV and still weakly reactive=1.5 and HCV RNA minimum detection level (taqman method 45UI/ml) was undetectable. For HIV the antibodies test elisa3  was negative. My infectionist doctors says that i don't have HCV and i don't have HIV.
My question is that doctor have right and what i your opinion about HCV.
Many thanks,
Ovidiu

I concur with your doctor; at the time of the HCV RNA test, you did NOT have Hepatitis C. You did NOT have HIV antibodies.
