hep c testing

by Jakied, Mar 27, 2007 12:00AM
I need some help from someone more knowledgable than I.

My hep c testing is as follows:

Neg antibody at 84 days and 195 days.

Neg riba at 248 days, after a 1.0 screening test.

Neg Pcr qualitative, at 129 days.

can I take this as a neg outcome and move on with life?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Why would you take additional antibody tests when your PCR is negative??

Seems like you put yourself under needless stress.

I know the Cdc has a flowchart which says + screen and neg Riba is a neg outcome.  I have to let this go and move on with life.
