hep c through a knife.

So last night my hpv and hep c positive boyfriend got black out drunk and was cutting himself with a knife. When he went to stab himself. I instinctively grabbed the knife. And i got cut. Not bad. I cleaned it immidiately with alcohol and peroxide. What are the chances i contracts hep c?

Here is some information from MedHelp.org on who is most at risk for Hep C. If you were exposed to infected blood, you should get tested.  http://www.medhelp.org/hepatitis-c/articles/What-Is-Hepatitis-C/2251

I agree with Bobby, yes a good chance of infection, get checked! I believe you need to wait a while before you can get checked though, call or doc to check.

i think probably high, your gonna need to get tested i would shove my hand in a bucket of bleach but i dont know much ive only just found out i got it and now alls i know is im deppressed.. miserable scared to death.. been on this site reading since 5 am its not something you want..
