hep c transmission through sex in stable relationship

I had hep c for roughly 15 yrs. I had a number of long term sexual relationships with 5 women in that time. We had sex frequently as I was in my teens and twenties without condoms. I told all of these women that I had it and not to worry about it. Many people thought I was playing roulette with other people's health.  Well when I was in treatment for hep c, I telephoned each of them and asked them to please get tested. I told them they best let their doc know their ex long term sex partner had chronic hep c. They all got tested. All negative

I myself have had sex many times since then with a girl I know is hep c positive and I have no fear about catching it again through sex. I know the advice is not to partake during periods but in my case that didnt make any difference either. Am I really playing roulette??

I think the risk of transmission is extremely low. Nill.

I'm more worried about the stable relationship. Keep away from them sheep , they're a fickle lot. And the one with the soft coat? She's a damned liar.

Having unprotected sex with a woman with HCV while she has her period isn't exactly safe.  Having unprotected sex with someone you're not monogamous with is not exactly safe either.

Condoms.  Wear 'em.

Very admirable of u calling the chicks. Our health dept here in VA told my fiancée, it IS an STD. Course he was disturbed, even tho I told him I was infected prior to intimacy. I had planned on being alone forever, as not to infect anyone. My liver doc sez NO! One percent chance of infecting. Stay away from a chick on the period and rough anal sex unless u do wear the raincoat. All other times-"get sum," with your regular steady hep c free partner and don't worry
