I agree with everyone above.  Push the issue continuously until they get it resolved, because you cannot restart Incivek once it is stopped.

Martha, as everyone said.. contact your doctor..  I was having problems getting mine after 90 days at the specialty pharmacy..  My insurance said I would have to go with a mail order pharmacy and the mail order pharmacy said there was no way they could get it to me before I ran out of what I had on hand.  My doctor's office got involved and my meds were sent to me overnight.

I was close to running out due to paper work issues (am on Vic so similar concerns about stopping) and I told them if I failed treatment due to their incompetence I was going to sue.  Wasn't mean about it but told them they needed to understand the impact to me and them. With help from the doctors office they shipped so I would get the doctor involved and talk directly to the manager of the pharmacy service.

Jasmine is correct. You cannot go off the Incivek and then go back on it. Get on the phone now and start calling the drug companies, the insurance, the pharmacy, and the doctor. Keep calling. Do whatever it takes to get your drugs ASAP.

Vertex case managers will research patients' insurance benefits, assist people with insurance appeals, and help guide them to other available forms of financial support.

The Vertex Free Medicine Program will provide telaprevir at no cost to people who do not have insurance, are not covered by other benefits programs, and have an annual household income of $100,000 or less.

Vertex "launched a comprehensive patient assistance and reimbursement program to support its belief that no patient should have to go without one of its treatments due to cost alone," according to a company announcement.

Don't give up. It would a shame if you had to stop treatment over red tape.

Martha, please do get on the phone and start calling.  Pour on the tears, call the pharmacy, the insurance, the doctor, the Incivek hot line.  The virus will build immunity if you are off the incivek.

Once incivek has been stopped it should not be restarted as per incivek prescribing protocol, it is very important that the dosage not be interrupted.

2.2 Dose Reduction
To prevent treatment failure, the dose of INCIVEK must not be reduced or interrupted. Refer to the respective prescribing information for dose modification
of peginterferon alfa and ribavirin [see Warnings and Precautions (5.7)].

If I were you I would contact the pharmacy directly or your doctor or perhaps even vertex and let them know your situation and see if you can get some help with this matter.
