Start by going to your primary care doctor.   Get a referral to a doctor who treats hepatitis C.   You live in the Bay Area.   The  San Francisco University Hospital would be a place where you could find a doctor to treat your Hepatitis C.  If your looking for somewhere to start.....That would be my first choice.

Its not that simple, TF.  You need to get a Hepatologist, Gastroenterologist, or Infectious disease Dr who knows about and has experience treating Hep C, then get the HCV RNA PVT test to determine if you really have the virus.  If so, then you also need to have a genotype test as there are a number of fenotype.  The genotype test will be used by your Dr to determine what meds are indicated.  All genotypes are not necessiarily treater with the same meds.
since you are in CA, it should be able to find a good hepa, gastro, or IFS without too much trouble.

Good Luck.
