Quite a few of us on this forum have been cured.

I am one of them. I had hepatitis C genotype 3a. I treated for 8 months. I have been SVR (cured) for 1 year now

Lielanie, Hepatitis C infection can be successfully resolved in approximately 50% of cases.

To my knowledge, chronic Hepatitis B is still a lifelong disease.

Because Hepatitis ‘B’ is endemic in the Philippines, it’s important to point out to Lielanie that this is a Hepatitis C forum and that I believe ‘RobertBeWell’ was probably referring to it, and not Hepatitis B.
