hepatitis

Can hepatitis B be dormant and for how long ? If one has been exposed to it how soon will one know it ?

i'm sorry let me rephrase that can a carrier test neg while his partner test pos and he's the one that cheated w/o using a condom?

hep B is a serious liver disease though not nearly as serious as hep C.  I believe about 90% of patients with hep b clear it on their own or with treatment.

If you are pos for hep B, SEE YOUR DOCTOR!  He can certainly advise you much better than I.

However, be thankful you have hep b and not hep c, which is VERY serious.

Do not delay on seeing your doctor.

my doctor saw antibodies in my blood test last 08.22.07... i found out i had hep b last 2003...  will there be a chance that i can be cured?
please advise...

Hep B antibody will show up on an antibody test within 2 months.  A neg after 3 months means you are home free.
