MY WIFE HAS LOST HER EYEBROWS,LASHES,AND IS LOSING HER HAIR ON HER HEAD.IS THIS MAYBE CAUSED FROM HAVING HEP C? SHE IS ALSO ANEMIC AND SHE GETS IRON SHOTS EVERY TWO WEEKS.SHES HAD HER THYROID TESTED AND IT LOOKED NORMAL.SHE HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH HER THYROID BEFORE.WE ARE REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS AND HER DOCTER DOESNT REALLY KNOW HERSELF.WHAT OTHER THING SHOULD BE LOOKED AT FOR HER HAIR LOSS? WE KNOW ITS NOT STRESS EITHER.THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND INPUT.YOURS TRULY CONCERNED HUSBAND.

Hey guys I have found out I have hep c and I havnt done drugs but I have had a partner that did we were together for 1 year and then we broke up that was 5 years ago and in a routine blood test last year I found out I had hep c geno type 1a it hit me for a six I got really scared and I worry about it all the time now I get pain in my liver I had an ultrasound to check what it was and I have an enlarged liver my doc said I need to get treatment if I want to get better I am waiting for my first appointment with my hep specialist to start treatment I want to know if anyone else gets these pains or my other symptoms I sweat a lot even at day time I've lost about 16 kilograms in the past 18 months and I eat heaps and some times headaches thank you heaps and we with hep c are not bad people I hate the fact that I'm ashamed to tell anyone I have only told 1 person apart from my doctors

I answered your question about hubby and bank loan below, but basically, when we got the note, they asked if he wanted credit life. They asked no health questions, just wrote it into the note. My husband has never had hep, but they didn't ask anyway, so it would not have mattered.  Joni

Is she seeing an endocrinologist (thyroid specialist) or a hepatologist? LL

Is she treating her Hep C? If she is, it is pretty common during treatment, and will come back. If she's not treating, I do not know, but hopefully others will come by that do.  Joni
