If the viral load is negative and remains so for a year then I would say you are the first person actually cured of hcv with silver, but I doubt it very seriously. enzymes do not paint an accurate picture of hcv.
until you know that you are negative, it would be wise to abstain from peddling the stuff to others.
Wait for the PCR test, not the enzymes(mine was normal and I still had hcv), and then peddle the stuff if the PCR is negative for a year.
I personally can't believe any "doctor" would condone the use of metal ingestion for any condition.
Still, I wish you luck. btw, how long ago were you infected?
my writing manner is usually blunt and to the point and sometimes it can sound nasty, and sometimes I truly am...especially when snake oil gets spread on the floor.
I truly wish you good health
You're a feakin Bozo peddling BS to lots of scared but smart people. Why don't you just go away and take your snake oil with you. You're full of it and we know the difference.

dndfunnel, please come back and let us know how your test went. If you do have to do Peg tx, at least it’s only 24 week with your genotype.
Yours, Dana
The lowering of enzymes does not mean they got rid of hcv, and that is the only thing they can really claim. but enzymes normalization can happen for many reasons unrelated to silver.
I hope you can come back on Monday and yell "I told you so" to my face!
but if you can't do that, still come back for support when embarking on a course to health that does not include metals.
there are others here that are a lot more diplomatic than me>
;-}
As cuteus stated, there is no study that proves it works.

did i tell you guys that i heard if you get bit by a rattle snake the hepc will go away?...yep! it's true!!! after your dead from the snake bit eventually the hep c won't have any live tissue to feed on and then they will die!!!
IT'S REVOLUTIONARY!!!
just given you a hard time...hope it worked for you!!! really.
:O) sandi
I think dean is for real. we will see Monday,
hey I will be happy to swallow my words if I get concrete proof of hcv erradication.

I'm not sure what you mean by where are you but I'll give it a try.
I live in Alabama. On tx for 16 weeks of 48.
Best to you, Dana
Your type has a better success rate and shorter duration than my type 1b. I decided to go for the tx because my biopsy indicated stage 3 (fibrosis) and it would not have taken long for me to progress to cirrosis. The biopsy results are the real indicator of how far the disease has progressed. You can have progression without abnormal enzymes (alt/ast). I understand that many docs and insurers aren't doing biopsies for type 2's and 3's- not a good policy in my view.
I haven't been able to work due to a rare problem associated with HCV, but many people are able to work. Somebody once posted that 25% can work as usual, 50% may need occasional time off or schedule adjustments, and 25% will not be able to work. My experience on this forum over the past 2 yrs suggests that is about right.
I have a niece headed to Australia and New Zealand in a month, what kind of weather is she likely to have? Dave
I am in NY, 1A and did 72 wks, I worked the full course. If you get a positive viral load test, try to get a biopsy to see what damage was done, then decide if tx is for you at this time.
teh biopsy was ultra sound guided done by a radiologist and it was painless and quick.
You only annoyed me for a little while...;-}
someone else from downunder was here, does anyone remember the name?
Remember that you need to factor in the placebo effect in the equation....

i didn't get a chance to read others replies to you but my guess is everyone has told you that the herb stuff doesn't kill hepc and the viral count and the ast/alt will not tell you how damaged your liver is until after you have cirhosis...and only the interferon/ribaviron has the best shot at killing it. alternatives will not kill it and the hepc will still keep damaging your liver until it's gone.
type 3a is the second best kind to treat if you are gonna have hepc. only type 2 is better. let us know when your gonna start tx or not, we will be here for ya...

Colloidal silver consists of silver particles suspended in a liquid. It is often produced by home-made generators. The use of silver medicinals to treat disorders such as epilepsy, gonorrhea, and colds was not uncommon until the mid-20th century. However, silver was replaced by safer therapies in the recent decades. While silver compounds are still used in external preparations as antiseptics, there has been a growing interest in using the collodial form of silver orally as an alternative medicine. Although no human clinical data support the use of oral colloidal silver, it is being promoted as a cure for AIDS, cancer, and diabetes. Silver is not an essential mineral and does not serve any physiological function in the body. It actually denatures proteins by binding to their reactive groups. It can inactivate some enzymes by forming hemisilver sulfides with sulfhydryl groups of the enzymes (1). Silver when taken orally can interact with and reduce the effectiveness of tetracycline, quinolone, and penicillamine. Long term use can cause silver deposition in the skin and mucous membranes leading to an irreversible condition called argyria, characterized by bluish-gray to gray-black pigmentation (2) (3). Other adverse effects include seizures (6) and kidney damage. Pregnant women should not consume colloidal silver as it can cause developmental abnormalities in the fetus (1).
