high ra factor

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is well. I just did my 7th of 24 shot last nite. Hanging in there.
My wbc is low, potassium low, glucose high, and some other stuff. My question is has anyone
ever had ra factor over 500?

After I did IFN years ago all autoimmune markers went up. I believe it was triggered by the IFN. I had to stop chemo after 4 months and go on prednisone and imuran. It really screwed me up for years. I still have positive RA RF ANA and others. I will wait now for a cocktail of PI's without IFN.

Thank you for your response. Doc says hep c can cause RA. I have had hep c geno 3 for 28yrs. my hands/knuckles have nodules and hurt and are hard to move. Lower back and shoulder hurt also. But this bothered me bfore tx. now it's worse. the other tests were normal just ra was high. So confusing. Hope you can get on something soon. Best of luck and thanks for your response. Yes it is! I'm a Jersey Girl at heart. Been here 5 years. And you are right I saw the RM doc and he said the same thing. He's doing another blood test and had xray of my hand done today. If it is RA he can't really treat until I'm done w/ hepc tx.

Yes prednisone does not go good with treatment at all........grab the SVR and then take care of it.  I lost my thyroid function because of the IFN - autoimmune stuff is the worst!
