SGPT = ALT

SGOT = AST

"When AST/ALT > 2.0, it is more likely to be associated with alcoholic hepatitis or hepatocellular carcinoma"

Hi and welcome....Something is amiss with your liver function and you need to find out what.   Alcohol once a week is not the culprit.   Do you have Hep C?    Have the doctors said the pancreatitis could cause these #s to elevate?    What I do know is you must find the cause.   Sometimes there are disorders which cause 1 number to be OK, and the other to rise.  Hopefully, it could be an easy answer and resolved quickly.    Either way you need to see either a gastro doc or a hepatologist (liver doc) if a source in not found.   The liver has over 100 functions and not an organ you want to fool around with.
Wish I could help you more.   Hope you find the answer soon.            Kim
