Yes, I am taking the herb that you are inquiring about. It is a chinese herb. I have not had any side effects from taking it. You can inquire more about this product on their website: HEPZONE.COM I have not started treatment yet but will begin in January on conventional treatment. The herb that you mention IS NOT a cure.....please understand this. It only from my understanding this herb provides the ultimate in liver support in what the liver is suppose to do. Once again it is not a cure for HEP C. Hope this helps.......

desrt-i had spelled it wrong-it is gallstones and when i had a liver biopsy-the ultrasound showed them- i am not trough with the process but will be monday they should be gone-im told the stress of gallstones with liver problems causes a new set of problems concerning bile, etc. but my question was concerning the herb for hep c treratment-
desert-the herb i am about to take is sho-saiko-to;xiao chaei hu tang- it is a minor bupleurum formula-- looking for any one with knowledge-
Although most people do fine, I had a reaction to buplurum, made me irritable and bitchy.
The only thing I know personally about gallstones is that if one gets caught in your common bile duct, it can cause pancreatitis and is about the worst pain I've ever felt. I do not currently have access to my acupuncturist's formularies(there's something I'm supposed to look up for copyman too), but I do know offhand that bupleurum formulas can have serious psychological side effects and must absolutely not be taken with interferon.
What are 'gostones' and how could you tell you were getting rid of them?
