how at risk

I'm sure by now you are all sick of hearing the same stuff over and over, but in the same breath I'm sure you have all been in the same position as me.  Does anybody have exact stats on how many people who only SNORT cocaine are infected with Hep C?  How at risk am I, for doing it only a handfull of times?  Any help would be so greatly appreciated.  I just got tested and am waiting on my results.
Thanks!

I got it that way so it's plenty possible without a doubt

You can't always tell when someone elses bleeding or not - in general just shoving powder up your nose should be enough to cause some tearing of the skin in there and more than enough to let microdroplets of blood in.   After all the idea behind it IS to have it absorb straight into your bloodstream as possible right???????

Snorting cocaine IS a risk for Hiv/Hbv/Hcv.  Any time blood from another person can possibly enter your blood stream is a risk.

When did you have your last snort of cocaine?  If more then three months ago, call request a test at 1888-732-2348. get tested for hiv/hbv/hcv/herpes.

i have a feeling you will be Ok but please don't play with fire.  This is your life at risk.  If you are addicted to coke, get into rehab.  That is a dead end road, if ever there was one.

ok, here goes again
first, someone had to bleed on the straw, then you had to snort their blood in and have an open sore in your nasal passages.
if you only did it a handful, chances are you had no deviated septum or nose bleeds. On top of this you had exposure a handful of times, to a few people. I'd be more concerned about what you may have caught after getting all hyped up personally.
it's obviously got you worryied so get tested, and test for STDs while you are at it. that way you'll get a total peace of mind not just over one thing.

I have NOT used drugs since i was 18 years old BUT i did snort and i did use  needles only a few times in my teens, but it only takes one time, back in the 70's people would just pass straws and needles around, this is why my doctor thinks ive had hep c for over 30 years, but ya know what..... who really knows when or where we got it. If kids today had any clue what drugs can do to you later on in life....its really sad.

they have found enough evidence of transmission to add it to the list of very possible risks. if you are going to snort use your own straw, NOT a bill! this could have more then HCV on it! best of luck

Get tested for the virus.  If you don't have it, stop snorting or at least don't snort with others, unless snorting with others is an irresistible part of the ritual and worth risking you life over.  Just worrying yourself and others about whether you have it won't  answer if you do.
