how contagious?

The other day, my 11 year old grandson forgot which toothbrush was his, and used mine for a second. He got very scared when he realized what he had done. I mean he got VERY scared.

I told him not to worry, the chances of him having gotten it are VERY slim, I am not bleeding and neither is he.

Was I right to reassure him?

Also, I am going for a disability hearing on April 8th. Any advice? I have a lawyer.

so many times my dtr and I did the same by mistake(couldn't remember which color was mine on the new brushes) and she is negative.  just reassure him that he can get tested at the next physical if he is still panicked.  GL

I would not worry about your Grandson getting infected. The odds are very, very slim. Especially if you had not used the brush for several hours.

Why don't you just keep your toothbrush somewhere not even next to the family's.  My razor and toothbrush are in it's own case.  A pain, yes, but nobody's gonna use them.  It's worth it for the peace of mind.
