how to keep Victrelis during the vacation??

hi everybody,

is there anyone who had victrelis treatment and had vacation during the treatment? it is written on box that we have to keep it under 30 C degree so anything can happen if we dont keep it on fridge between 2-8 C degree? anyone did it? and what about results?

I will have 2 weeks vacation and until now i keep victrelis on 4 C degree but it is not gonna be so possible during the vacation for i have a dose at 4pm.

i will be glad if u share ur knowledges and experiences

Storage and Handling

Victrelis Capsules should be refrigerated at 2–8°C (36–46°F) until dispensed. Avoid exposure to excessive heat. For patient use, refrigerated capsules of Victrelis can remain stable until the expiration date printed on the label. Victrelis can also be stored at room temperature up to 25°C (77°F) for 3 months. Keep container tightly closed.

What drugs are you taking 3 times a times?  The only medication that needs to be refrigerated is interferon, not the ribavirin.

Thanks for reply adamben. I have vaccine box for long journey but i dont know how to do during the day on vacation. I have doses at 8-16-24 o'clocks. So 8 and 24 are ok for i will be at home but no idea about dose at 4pm. Here at hometown i can go home but i dont wanna visit home afternoons on vacation. Im soo bored to live my life limited. So just wondering if anything happens to put a dose into my pocket and go out for 12 hours. Those diabetic travel kits can keep it for 10-12 hours?

Go to your local CVS and ask for a diabetic travel kit.  It comes with an ice pack.  It is not the greatest so maybe you just want to buy a small cooler to keep it in until you get to a fridge.
