Since the gallbladder is located so close to the liver, I'm wondering how you know it is the gallbladder that is hurting. You could check by going for about 6 hours without eating any kind of fats, then eat something really high in fat like french fries. That will cause the gallbladder to contract to expel bile, and if anything is wrong with your gallbladder it will hurt.
If it does hurt, you should go to your doctor... if the pain you are feeling persists... you should go to your doctor too because there are other things in the same area that could be having problems too.
Good luck,
Diane
For HCV itself the anser is No. However, due to attacks on liver, you gallbladder can be afffected as a side effect of what your liver is going through.
As liver is central to so many things, surrounding organs (pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, kidneys, etc.) all can be affected by changes our liver is going through.
For myself, with cirrhosis, my spleen has always been slightly enlarged as a result, but other organs can be enlarged or return to normal depending on when scans are taken.
i don't know if it can but i had to have mine out,i had stones in it,but i dont no if its because of hep or not
