infected cut

I was an infected in grown hair right on the inside of my leg.  I went to the gyno to get it checked out and she confirmed it was only an ingrown hair.  A few days later it popped and leaked some ***** fluid.  A few days after that i was hanging out with a guy and im worried i could have gotten some of his semen into the small wound the ingrown hair left. Am I at risk for an STD?

HCV is not a STD. HCV is transmitted from blood to blood. There is only about a 5% chance of transfer of the virus through sex acts. So it is extremely unlikely that you could have contracted hepatitis c.

As Hector said Hep C in not an STD.  According to the Mayo Clinic web site .06% (that means six,tenths of one percent) of Hep C cases are contracted through sex, and those typically occur with co-infection with HIV. Unless there was direct injection of infected blood into your blood stream you cannot get Hep C.
