And if I gave oral sex an dkissed someone with Hepb would it still need to get into my blood stream?

it's my understanding that heb B is very transferable through body fluids, whereas Hep C is a blood to blood only transfer.

Heb B is extremely common, with 40 percent of certain south american groups being carriers it regularly get transfered into the society through contact points, food supply etc.

this is also true of rhinovirus (colds) which can be gotten from any surface an infected peoson has touched.
the best insurance against hep A and B at this point is to vaccinate since it is an ever growing problem and concern. Also, wash all your produce when you bring it home, order cooked food when out...it's safer than raw foods. limit your exposure to surfaces other contact and use good hand washing techniques whenever exposed. Try to avoid hand to mouth contact after you have been out touching doors/chairs/movie seats, these are areas where mucus transfers between people, so since you cannot avoid all touching of surfaces at least try to keep your hands away from your mouth, by not chewing fingers etc. Most virus are spead more readily through surface contacts with saliva/mucosa not through the sirborne method as many assume..
