inflammation of the liver

How could I know if I have inflammation of the liver without testing? I tried to see if by touching my abdomen but can someone tell me how to?
Is it suppose to be a lot of pain or mild and where, I am afraid to have contracted Hep.C on a sexual encounter with someone I don’t know her statue.

you don't do yourself a favor by attempting yourself to diagnose yourself.

- see a STD doc/clinic about your general concern about contracting a sexually transmittable disease (hep C is by far not the only virus that can affect the liver, btw.)

- and see a hepatologist or doctor of internal medicine about your worry about having liver inflammation and some liver-related infection. He/she will order the proper blood tests and scan your abdomen to see what is going on.

You will have then black-on-white results, and either can stop worrying, or have a clear indication for targeted treatment, etc. to get healthy again.

and, in general, the earlier you see a doctor, the better. because let's assume you did get infected with hep c (unlike anyway, sexually), then early treatment can wipe it off from your body (99% cure rate when treated within 3 months of infection)


=> So, you can only win by going to a doctor, and only loose by not doing so.

my message is, be a man ;)   -  walk to doc office, and openly tell what's the deal. you can do it, it only shows you are responsible, nothing else. So, good luck, and don't forget, it may *veeery* well be that you are worrying about nothing.
