injections

Hi everyone,

I noticed that a lot of people on this website are talking about pulling back a needle when they inject medication to see, if there is any blood there to make sure they did not hit a vein. I have never done it and now I am concerned that I have done my injections incorrectly. I called "Pegasyst" answering line and the nurse told me not to worry since the needle is short and it's impossible to hit a vein. She said I don't have to pull the needle back. I do get bruises after my injections sometimes. They are small and I am not sure if they mean that hit a vein.

What do you guys think? Do you every get bruises from injections?

Also what would happen if injected into a vein?

Thank you,

Foreign girl.
