interferon after transplant

I received a liver transplant 2 years ago and have done well until recently. The hep c virus has decided to attack my new liver with vengance.  I am now at stage 2 and my viral tests and bilirubin are sky high.  Has anybody tried the intrerferon treatment after transplant with any sucess?  I am also a genotype 1 non responder.  Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Rich

So sorry things went south so fast.  I have come across numerous articles on TX and transplant but didn't read them.  Do a search.

Yes many have treated succesfully post transplant.
There are also new and better treatments for geno 1 patients coming to market soon which work well for non -responders (search 'telaprevir').
Not yet tried on transplanted patients, but will be in due course.
