my iron was very high...doc wanted me to give blood for like 7 months to lower the levels before treatment...

I was told by my hepatologist that too high levels of iron can cause cirrhosis, by and of, itself.

Look into getting tested for hemochromotosis.

That's what it ended up being for me.

The hep C didn't help either.

thnxz u guyz but my iron is 9.9 and im pregnant so they say thts to low so wat can i do to get it up,thats y i ask wats the high number for iron and whats the low number for iron.
