Hi Tania, I know you were not exposed to the meds very long before you were pulled off due to the skin reaction from the incivek, I would suggest seeing a dermatologist asap to have them ***** the rash and perhaps prescribe steroids as pooh suggested

Have a great day

Hi T,
I'm 8 weeks post rib/peg (6 mo/G-3) tx and the derm effects for me were horrible on treatment, cleared 80% the first 2 weeks after tx, no improvement noticed the next 4 weeks (6 weeks total post tx), but now getting still better these last 2 weeks... hasn't itched the last 2 weeks but still feels a bit dry (not so dry I put anything on it though). I have a theory that if the rib is the culprit and as it attaches permanently to RBC's and an RBC lifespan is between 90-120 days then it should take 3 months...but as excess rib is stored in other body tissue, newly produced rbc's need to clear the excess meaning longer than 3 mo to be rib free. In that the pharma's all warn of pregnancy within 6 mo, consider they would allow themselves at least 1 mo of leeway tolerance. Wrapping it all up I'd say one can expect symptoms due to 'real time' rib exposure to linger between slightly longer than 3 months, to 5 months gradually decreasing. Peginf is cleared much more quickly (within 2 weeks post tx). Now both of these can have permanent adverse effects but like a lot of medical issues, can get better with meds, lotions or just time alone (your body adapts and/or overcomes). I've no experience with triple therapy so will leave that alone. Good Luck.

i've heard 1 to 2 months. In the meantime drink plenty of water (some say 100 ozs. a day). Avoid the sun. These meds will dry you out. best of luck.

Generally, it can be controlled with medication.
I itched every now and then, but  I did have meds oh hand.
Just make sure you don't let it out of control.
Discuss with dr. asap.
