itchy and very dry mouth

Hi!
I finished my 48 weeks treatment last november and unfortunately I relapsed. Does anyone have those constant itchy feeling in mouth + it gets really dry. Thanks.

yeah i went thru 48 weeks and relapsed, but the future hopefully get brighter for us non-responders or relapsers, i became at und at 24 weeks.. then relapsed, makes me mad this stupid critter wont leave me alone.. itchy thing...

I went through 26 week tx and was a non-responder and then a 48 week. leaqr after 6 months but, am waiting for labs. I feel like I did the firest time before TX.

The news were very devastating. I was tested negative after 4 or 5 monts of treatment and I was so happy despite having to inject for another 6 months. and it came back just a month after 48 weeks of treatment. I'm still not over it completely. Thanks for your kind words and advice.
I also had dry mouth during the treatment, just drink plenty of fluids.Hopefully you will better soon!

I am so sorry to hear about your relapse that must be devastating. The itchy dry mouth thing has plagued me throughout TX and now still one month after. I was told by the docs that the dehydration and skin problems would last 6 months after TX. I think everyone is different and have read about sides lasting much longer. I think the docs follow the patients for 6 months and then don't know what happens after that. Check with your primary physician. Again my heart goes out to you. I can't imagine what a blow it would be to go through TX and have the HCV return.
