i hav jus read  that anyone with hep c should get vaccinated against hep a and b, as if we were 2 catch either a or b it could be very dangerous and even leave 2 death suddenly. jus wondering if anybody on this site was vaccinated against hep a or b.

I had been strongly advise to get both when I was diagnosed.  Probably most people here were advised the same.  Even if one did not have C, vaccinations would probably be a good idea.

Vaccination against hep a and hep b is avery good idea.

Yes, absolutely, get protected against the other 2 hepatis viruses. One alone does more than enough liver damage!

Yeppers.... I too was was strongly encouraged to get vaccinated.  I've got one more shot in the series left to do in April.

my doc had me take my vacinations for boyh a&b just b4 my tx started and the lost of the shot during tx.

it is a very good idea to have it done, i did not have any side effects from the shots as well.

p.s. now you no i do not have a garage so just leave that harley on the poch.:O)

why would you need 2 get flu shot, dont mean 2 be ignorant, but only new 2 all dis and dont no much. only wat i learn here,

i have got appointment 4 10th jan, so i want 2 no wat questions 2 ask and things i need 2 get done. the doctors in hos dont seem 2 be 2 fortcomming on information.

The flu can easily kill anyone with a compromised immune system - a viral disease that attacks you isn't such a great thing to get in ANY case but I got my flu shot, pneumonia shot and all my hep vaccines because it is a better safe than sorry situation.  How much can your body be prepared to fight off at one time?

I've been vaccinated for both Hep A and B. The Hep A vaccine was successful, I'm now on round two with the Hep B vaccine. It doen't always take the first time.
