I had what a physician says is a fungal infection on my lips.  Had this 3 years ago after a major surgery and used Lotromin cream, yogurt on my lips, ice, and lactinex pills.  After a week or so it went away.  About 1 1/2 years ago I had the same symptoms and used the same treatment.  I started about 1 1/2 weeks ago with the same symptoms.  Swelling of the lips, burning, cracking and peeling.  I have tried the same treatment and I have not improved.  It is difficult to work in the public, difficult to eat because of swelling when I eat.  Any suggestions?  Please help?  Thank you!

Sure you want the hepatitis Forum?

By coincidence, it is one of the TX SX.

I had a fungal lip problem as well and it finally went away when the NP prescribed ertaczo.
