Hi K ...

Ursodiol is given according to your weight.  I don't know how they calculate it, but you take it in divided doses.  I take mine morning, afternoon, and evening.

I have had pain and odd twitches and movement, to the point of rigidity from my muscles ... all over my body.  I was told too about firbromalagia.  I understand that liver disease and this medication too, will cause muscle and joint pain.  I have psoriatic and osteoarthritis, so joint pain for me is difficult to differentiate.  Though this muscle stuff was new.  I have ... okay, *HAD* ... always been active, physically able to do much, even with arthritis.  Now my muscles are like jelly, like they have atrophied ... but when they tighten and become rigid - different than, but similiar to - a Charlie Horse, I don't like it, and it does hurt.

My skin is improving daily, but I am ordering a body suit (made to be worn under a diving suit - to make it go on easier) to put on under my swim suit.  I have the pants that I wore when I taught swimming - ::laughs::  I didn't much care to demonstrate the breast stroke kick, without some added covering ... Anyway, when my psoriasis got worse I stopped swimming .  Now with this body suit, I'll be able to get back into the water, not be so self conscious, and get my muscles back!
