lexapro and treatment

Wow I've been off lexapro one week after cutting my dose in half for two weeks after 15 1/2 months of taking it and I feel like I'm rushing on some kind of drugs, brain zaps that just come and go, I try and sit thru them and let myself enjoy it since I don't drink or do drugs, (and repeat there's no place like home...) was watching the news about the tornado damage and death of kids and just started crying, it wasn't like this last time I treated and quit the lex, just saying people might want to be careful when they quit!! Just a thought between zaps!!

Yikes, I just started taking Lexapro 2 weeks ago. So far, so good. But thanks for the heads-up as far as what could happen at the end of it.

Awwh,,hope you feel better soon. Maybe more of a weening off??, slower would have helped. Those drugs are powerful, those Ad's. Granted sometimes they are necessary, but I wish doctors had more of a science as to 'how to cut back,' before stopping the meds. Maybe 1/2 dose is too abrupt, who knows,,but prayers sent up for you today.

feel better!
