Yes, I read it, in fact posted it here.

The point btw wasn't that Alaskan's cleared the virus on their own in greater numbers than previously suspected but that ANYONE has a better chance of clearing the virus on their own in greater numbers than previously suspected. (Of course the number of those clearing spontaneously is very small so not to hold our breath). The study just happened to be done in Alaska, but nothing suggested that the Alaskan population was any different from the larger population at large.

they sure gotta lotta nice wigs out there now, went wig shopping the other day, when it comes to vanity, no boyscout has anything on me in terms of being "prepared." They even breathe better, though I wouldn't wear one out in the hot summer, during high noon....my luck, I'd pass out on the sidewalk.....and there would be little old me...with a wig, just a foot away from my bald, prickly head...what a sight! Well, I always wear clean underwear, so there I'm covered....

So you agree with me and I guess that means you'll hold mike as I whip him. I think most guys would like to have one woman hold him as the other whips him, so we better think of something else - that's not punishment for a man. HA!!!!

But actually we all are pretty funny and we can't help but laugh at each other, but man oh man some must think they walked into the Bloods and Crypts forum sometimes. We're a rought crowd at times, but funny nonetheless. I think when you are finished with tx we all should have a get together - the people on forum who want to meet. Imagine that, that would be fun. It would probably be a 3 day non stop party. We'll wait until your hair comes back in. I wouldn't want to meet anyone now. My hair is horrible. It better come back. I'll be depressed if it doesn't.

And thanks for the kind words. You speak your mind to and for that I am grateful also. I would like to get to where you are though,,,you get your point across but in a nicer tone. I'm trying, but its a process. It doesn't happen overnight for me.

Yes everything is Okay. Jim my husband took somebody to his prom too and this was long before my husband and I met, so no biggy. He doesn't even mind the picture I keep of you in my wallet.

I'm glad to hear that you feel confident that I am svr. I think I am, but ya know how it is, we all sit on pins and needles. I'm not really thinking about results yet, but when it comes time to get them i will be tense I'm sure.

As far as waitng for the next poison, I think I will pass all poison to tell you the truth. I really have thought about it all and I will just take tons of milk thistle and all the other natural stuff and thats it.

But one thing I did find interesting was when someone had posted the article that showed that a study that they had done with Indians and Alaskans and how some cleared the virus on their own after having it for years (if I remember correctly) The only guess I could make is diet. Possibly because they consume more fish than we do? Don't know, but I am taking extra fish oil now. Did you see that article and what did you think?

ha, ha....like I said, perverted minds think alike...sometimes it's hard to stay objective when you join a club, and this is a *type* of club, where people go through a lot together and develop friendships, etc....and most of us, I'll say the vast majority of us, really hate this disease and are really here to help one another...including Mike, he's a very knowledgeable guy and helps many with his knowledge and experience....and a very courageous example for all of us ......being transplanted and all, just his being here probably gives members perspective (like me, booo hooo hoooing about my relatively small hep c problems) ...but I agree with you, this new poster is new, and he hasn't developed friendships, alliances, etc...he does not know *the lay of the land* so to speak...and that comment might of sounded like it was coming out of left field and just a tad insulting...if anyone pictured themselves new here and just wanting answers or wanting to share your experience....

This new poster has his own point of view, and of course we are welcome to contradict it, (it is a discussion board after all) but sometimes when your new, posts *can* come off as being snide or sarcastic, even if it wasn't the posters intention to come off that way, and what is a new poster to think? What I try to do is put myself in another person's shoes if I can, which granted, ain't always easy...

I'm sure I've been obnoxious and/or insensitive far more then once, though I try to do that with old hands here who I know will take it as lame attempts at being funny.....And I agree with Jim, it is harder to post things you know maybe not be the "popular"  way to look at things around here.....but even if I disagree emphatically, I always applaud a person who will speak their own truth, something you do My Own, and something I'm grateful for as a another poster here...

So you were mad at me and now forgive me so now everything is OK? Boy, the things I miss by not reading here every day now. LOL. Seriously, never knew there was a problem but glad it's been resolved and let's just agree not to discuss our prom date anymore since no doubt your husband would get very jealous.

I agree with Dr. D. fo you to think positive. Given your genotype and all, I'd be flabbergasted if you were anything but SVR, but in the unlikely event you aren't -- I also agree that you should sit tight and wait for the next wave of less posionous posion down the pike.

All the best from your MH buddy,

Hi Jim,

Good to talk to you. I'm glad I'm still your prom queen. My body still aches for you everytime I think of that night after the prom. LOL I thought the ache was the typical bone pain we get from interferon but I noticed the aches happen exactly when I think of you. LOL I'm glad we broke up for a while Jim, making up is so much fun. LOL

So anyhow boyfriend of mine... I was mad at you. I know that you are not the type to want it all out there for all to see and you also like your privacy so I know you wouldn't want to email me, so I will let it go because I do love you as my friend and I didn't like myself for being mad at you, but I knew in time we would hold hands again.

Did you notice that I said "I agreed" with you in that other post. I said that because I did agree with you but I also wanted you to know I'm okay with everything.

I finished tx the 24th of June (Friday) and continued riba until Monday. My PCP was concerned about my hemo. It was 10.0 and I'm sure it dropped by the next lab which I haven't seen results yet.

I will get the results of the 4 week post probably when I come back. I will be going away in a few days for 2 weeks.

Hopefully I am svr and stay that way, but if God forbid something goes wrong, I'm not doing this again out of fear of getting an autoimmune disease or something - not worth the risk being I am only stage 0.   Dr. D understands my feeling this way but told me to think positive. I am but I just wanted to see what he would say about me not tx again.

So talk to me baby. I missed ya honey, even though I could have choked you, but now I'm sending you a kiss and a hug instead cause I missed you.

MO: Well I'll never be popular I guess.
----------------------------------------------------
Hey, you'll always be my prom queen, and I like the fact that you say what's on your mind even when it's not popular, and even when you're wrong (like when you disagree with me for example :) )

Haven't been on much lately, so please update me on what's going on. How many weeks post treatment are you? How are you feeling? Did you get a post treatment viral load test yet, and if so, at what week and what was the result?

Hope this finds you well.

It amazes me that so many people jump on the wagon of what appears to them to be the popular side to be on. Yes I agree mike is funny and I thought his comment was funny, but you or WE have to also realize where Frank is comming from too. He just came on forum. Yes its the internet and things happen. Was it a horrible thing that mike said? No, but we know him and we know how we all tease each other, but Frank doesn't because he just got here. But what amazes me is that people were so quick to point out that Frank was '"nasty"but no one said, "hey mike, well the guy just got here and maybe thats why he got a little hot - he doesn't know how we all joke around. Nope, nobody wants to say that because they might not be popular anymore or mike might not like them. Well I'll never be popular I guess. I'm not going to cry about it. I could care less. This isn't residual riba talking. Its me.

It isn't the content, its the nastiness that's the problem. I think Tulip said it best, GOOD BYE. And I'll add, GO AWAY!!!
BTW: I like Mike, hot dogs and milk thistle. Now lets see what Goof can do with that!

Glad to hear that you are doing well Frank. I just finished tx, but I do believe in taking supplements such as the ones you mentioned.

As far as mikesimon...mike and I used to battle all the time, but now we get along fine. I hope you and mike can become friends someday too. He's really not that bad, well sometimes yeah he is, but not always.

Hi mike, how are ya. I guess I'll hear "you got mail" in about 10 seconds

Just because I agreed with you doesn't mean I think your mature... or right about HCV, for that matter. But, I do love those Hebrew Nationals and I think they do work at least as well as your concoction. Mike
